What are tokens?

Tokens are the currency that powers AI actions inside Scriptly. Every image generation, smart import, video, and speech uses tokens. Your plan includes a monthly token allocation that resets each billing cycle.

What happens to unused monthly tokens?

Monthly tokens reset at the start of each billing period. However, any purchased token packs (top-ups) never expire and roll over indefinitely.

Can I switch plans anytime?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll be prorated for the remainder of your billing period.

How does the Team plan work?

Team plans include 3 seats. The workspace owner pays the plan, and tokens are shared across all seats. Need video and speech? Team users can access these via extra token top-ups, or upgrade to Team Pro where they're included.

Do I own my generated content?

Absolutely. You retain full ownership of all scripts, storyboards, and AI-generated content created on Scriptly Studio.
